Hi I got ripped off out of $13,566.16 from a company called city lending group.The company kept promising me the loan first I gave money to them for a 5,000 loan because of my credit I had to give some sort of collateral of $1,051 and send it to money gram.The next day they wanted more money because my file had to be reaccessed. After that the lender backed out and city lending group promised and reassured me a 10,000 loan and wanted more money and the money I send was to private lenders and regular people not a company because of the fact that they were a private invester they could not release any information. To make a long story short I stopped sending them money because am afraid they are a fraud and also I have no more to give them. They gave me the run around for two weeks and now ama victim of fraud and about to go in bankrupcy because of this company.
I would gladly appreciate a call back ASAP regarding my situation and wish to speak to someone. The company is called City Lending Group and they are based out of Hampton Virginia but they have lenders in Canada and that is where I have send them the money. They have send me a reassurance letter saying that if I gave them an additional 4,200 hundred dollars they would give me a $40,000 loan. At first I gave them the 4,200 hundred dollars and through money gram and then called when I called a few hours later money gram said it was a fraud. The company is saying they will refund me my money but that I have to wait till febuary 24 to receive the money in full. I do not know if this is true. I also do not know if they will change their phone number any time soon. I hope someone gets back to me regarding this matter asap I will appreciate it before its too late. I am scared that I will not get my refund.

City Lending Group LLC has offices in Seattle, WA and Williamsburg, VA. Our phone numbers are: 206-696-7028 for Seattle and 757-220-0065 for Williamsburg, VA. We ARE NOT associate in any way with another company also called City Lending Group, out of Hampton, VA allegedly located at 1919 Commerce Dr., Hampton, VA. The have an 800 number which is: 866-718-3046 and extension 174. People that have called our office said they have spoken to individuals named; Joshua Bradley, Arthur Duncan, and Dave Miller. Their website is: www.citylending.net. Our website is www.citylendinggroup.com.
This company is located out of Canada and they use a Northern Virginia number also. Purportedly, they specialize in collateralized loans and according to people who signed up with them, they are asking for sums up front in the amount of $900 to $4000. We do not offer collateralized small loans. We offer typical home loans for purchase and refinance and only require the appraisal fee up front which is typically $350 to $400 and paid directly to the appraisal company.
If you feel you have been defrauded by the company out of Hampton, VA, call the PHONE BUSTER hotline number 888-495-8501 or the Federal Trade Commission at 877-382-4357. When are people going to learn that no respectable company EVER requires money up front for a personal loan? Well, you got exactly what you paid for - NOTHING. And NO, you have no recourse in the matter. Your money, as well as this "company" are long gone.
