Complaint Review: City Limousine and Sedan Services

 Do not rent from City Limousine. I read the positives and negatives and figured as a seasoned limo rider, we have always been fortunate to secure a great deal and a great experience. I question the validity of the positive comments for this company on www.limos.com. Do Not rent from City Limo. Let me begin by saying that during my initial conversation and prior to securing the limo, I clearly stated to Shawn at City Limo that I wanted pictures and decscription of the limo plus all amenities I was securing because I did not want any surprises. After reviewing the pictures and discussing all of the details of the amenities. we secured a White Hummer Stretch for 14 people. I have pictures to support all of my claims and witness proof from 7 passengers: empty hole where window controls should be for the back, the a/c that didn't work, the inches of muck on the broken glass mirrors on the inside, the torn seats, the a/c adapter that was holding on by cords, the divider that did not work, the dents, rust, check engine light, but wish I could provide you the captured sent of Urine as soon as the door opened. I immediately called the owner after the driver arrived a couple minutes past the contracted time (although Shawn informed us he would have him there 30 mins early so we could get loaded and on the road -- that communication which according to the driver was never communicated with him -- event started with Driver calling to complain to owner instead of helping us get loaded in the vehicle with all of our belongings -- didn't even shake my hand just held the paper up that said, "I supposed to be here 330. See, says here on paper". I called Shawn and said, "This is unacceptable.

Besides the condition of the limo, it smells like urine and there is nothing in it: no ice, no glasses. This is not what we paid for." His response, "I would have sent the black one but you wanted the white one. I will have it switched out of the concert." Yes, I wanted the white one based on the photos provided to me in mint condition which were probably taken when it was manufactured and the decscription of the amenities provided. We have documented the event. We will be filing suit. Do Not rent from this company. I continued to try and reach the company's owner,Shawn, through my phone and the driver's phone over 20 times throughout the next 4 hours and was put to voicemail. The driver himself unable to get through and the one time he got through knowing I wanted to speak to the owner, ended the call and said, "oh, sorry I forgot." Lack of integrity, misrepresentation of services and products available, Crookery.

Additionally, I see in these positive comments listed that vehicles were stocked with ice, water, sodas, glasses...we had 10 bottles of water with no ice and regarding soda .... Shawn told me they don't provide soda in their cars anymore because of too many mishaps that were hard to clean. Clean... I laugh out loud. Besides the grime all over the inside making me fear of the potential to contract a disease from the Urine and who knows what other types of fluids never removed, our wheels and tires were filthy, I venture to say it has been over a year since it maybe had a cleaning. Lastly, I emailed Shawn the next morning -- black limo never came to be switched out, no one ever returned my calls or email requesting a call -- he responds to my email by letting me know he would "hook us up for a free ride another time" and that the police had shut down roads to the Jiffy Lube Live Pavillion ... I called to verify and no roads between Gainesville and the concert hall were shut down. We requested a refund and have yet to receieve a response. We will be prosecuting this to the highest levels. This company should not be in business. Let me also add, we hit the rumple strips several times on the roadway, we often slid from side to side because there was no care taken with the driver's maneuverability, we slammed forward often coming to stops and the kicker ... on the way home, the driver asks if there is a gas station anywhere nearby because we are on empty. I let him know there was one several miles up the road. He stopped with us in the vehicle to get fuel. In my 20 years of renting limousines ... all of these things mentioned above have never happened.
