This report and the one submitted on 08/11 were both submitted anonymously by Ethan Platteborze who is running a scam operation called Cavalier Salvage. Ethan operates this business out of his apartment. I spoke with Walt, the owner at City Liquidators and Ethan used to work for Walt.

Evidently Ethan has a grudge against City Liquidators and that is the reason he submitted the phony report. What is really ironic is the fact that all of the pictures of Ethan's "inventory" on his website are actually pictures of City Liquidator's inventory that Ethan took in their store! Ethan has no inventory, no store or warehouse, and not much for
brains. He is trying to create the illusion of a large established business when in fact Cavalier Salvage is nothing more than one guy, a telephone, and an apartment. There are numerous complaints posted here as well as legal actions which have been filed against this jerk. I am not a former disgruntled customer but rather one member of a small group whose
sole mission is shutting down con-artists like Ethan. Ethan keeps making the same glaring technical error in all of his phony submissions which makes it very simple for us to back-trace. Beware of this guy, he's only out to take your money. Thanks to you guys at The Rip Off Report
