City of Oakland parking Department PARKING SCAM Oakland , California
I was in Oakland on February 18, 2010, parked in a parking structure from 7:08 AM to 4:47 PM and have a parking receipt to verify.
March 2, 2010, I received 2 parking citations, issue date 2-18-10, from Oakland: Meter violation on 2-18-10 at 4:49PM & Licence plate missing on 2-18-10 at 4:50PM same location 421 19th Street, Oakland.
3-4-10 Campbell Police Dept.verified 2 plates were attached to car and signed ticket. E-mailed parking administration of Oakland to contest tickets and sent my receipt.
Feb.3,10 paid tickets, $270.00 total so penalties weren't added.3-25-10 contersted in person in Oakland, filled out forms, still waiting.
