I received a letter in the mail from city wide standard inc. international claims department 102 kings st, Toronto Ont Canada. It claimed that i was the winner of De lotto north american sweepstakes lottery held on may 30th 2008. They claimed they were trying to contact me and were unsuccessful. I had won 125,000 us dollars in bold print. They wanted me to deposit a check that was with the letter in the amount of 4,875.00 and had city wide standard inc 1920 skippack pike blue bell,pa 19422 on the top left hand side on the right hand side was Sovereign bank two Aldwyn ctr villanova ,pa 19085-1431. Then they wanted me to send a money gram or western union in the amount of 2,875 to the "tax agent" but i was not to cash the check until i called them. i knew it must be a scam and called my bank who was totally unhelpful and told me to call the cops who i thought would pretty much say the same thing dont cash and there is nothing we can do no crime was commited so i didnt bother . Im goint to save it if you want me to send it to you or if you need me to take it to the police office.
