My experience:
3pm purchased 2 tickets from street vendor for $108 which includes all the stops, boat cruise, etc.

4pm after enjoying a walk to upper west side, we waited at the stop for the bus. First one was full, second one was also full. By now the line behind us was 20 deep. Third bus had seats only on the bottom, which we took. The bottom is a sweat box, you can see out the windows but not much due to the ads on the side of the bus, so no pictures.

4:45 after less than 10 minutes on the bus we decided that we couldn't stand the heat anymore and we told the tour guide to let us out. He informed us that a second bus was directly behind us with seating up top, so we just had to "hop off and hop on". We hopped off, but.....

The second bus drove right passed us, even though we were underneath the bus stop sign, even though I was frantically waving my arms at him, even though I could see that half the seats up top were free, even though he looked directly at me. We were now stranded on 125th street!

5pm We were able to get a cab and went directly to the company office where we were told that because we bought our tickets from street vendors we would have to deal with them. Um, excuse me but those "street vendors" work for your company, they have company uniforms and handheld debit machines which I'm sure were provided by this company so I wouldn't allow them to tell me that they were separate, this was obviously a way to get me to leave the office. Finally a manager took our tickets (which were 48 hour tickets purchased less than 3 hours earlier) and had us fill out a form for a refund which would take 3-5 days. Yeah rightt, this was August 2012, it's almost a full year.

They stopped responding to my emails altogether and when I call I can't get anyone to talk to. NY Consumer Affairs is equally unhelpful.

Do yourself a huge favor and don't give these people any of your money.
