Complaint Review: Clarion Shaftesbury Hotel Hyde Park UK

Please be aware that the star rating on this hotel is most certainly NOT a four star!! The rooms are practically only big enough for one person and don't EVEN plan on turning around in the bathroom!!!

Our outside view was to the backs of other buildings.... yuck, only one person at a time would fit in the elevator if you had more than one piece of luggage, the service staff was wonderful but the front desk staff were way too arrogant for such a low rated hotel!

To be fair, the Theater Room which was the bar was brilliant and they did offer a computer room with about 6 laptops for customer use!

However, this hotel was no more than a 2+ star hotel tops!! The fees for the rooms were extremely overpriced. While we were there a gentleman was on the phone with his credit card company (talking loudly) demanding a refund for being over priced.

We loved the location and chose not to request a refund. The area is young, vital and vibrant, however, that has no bearing on a company being able to claim a four star status for a room you keep bumping into each other in!!!!!!!!
