I took my $3,000 antique fan in to have a single small dent removed and polished. When I picked it up, I failed to notice the work until I got home. I realized they had done a shody job as the one tiny dent was now a conglomeration of about 20 smaller dents. The surface had scratches and was a complete mess.
I had tried calling several times and even left a messaage for the owner to call me back...big surprise, they never returned my phone calls.
If the company would have been honest with me and told me this was above his pay grade, I would have had much more respect and probably even given him some of my business for my other antiques.
At this juncture, my only recourse is to seek legal damages.
