My credit card statment shows $39.99 was charged on 6/19/2008. I did have one transaction with them on 3/7/2007. But when I checked my account on their website, apparently I already deleted my credit card info after the transaction - their website emailed me my password in plain text, at that time I already concluded it's not a safe site.

Credit card company said they are going to investigate this.

p.s. I just saw several other cases on this issue on this website. They were charged 29.99 to 69.99 - seems this is a plotted crime.

I had the same situation last week. No calls or emails returned, even my bank wouldn't help without me cancelling my debit card (huge problem for me). I filed complaints with everyone I possibly could. Today I just received a response from a complaint I filed on http://www.truste.org/ about a privacy violation (their having my info on file!!), and a customer care rep from classiccloseouts replied stating that a credit had been issued.
