Classmates.com ripoff. Service unusable after paying fee. Company refuses refund. Renton Washington
I signed up in August 2006 to use Classmates.com as a tool to reach classmates for Reunion planning. The fee was $36.00 for 1 year and I was to be able to reach old classmates via e-mail through the service. After signing up I received 1 e-mail from a previous classmate and tried to respond back. I was unable to use the classsmates.com e-mail message board so I contacted the service via e-mail. They assured me their technical team was working on the problem and apologized for the inconvenience. I have had numerous other experiences since then with the same results. I requested they cancel my membership and refund my $ since the service I paid for was not available. They refused.
Now I can't even reach them by e-mail via their .com web address. My messages are sent back.
Thank you for your time.
