Clay Cooley is for people who don't have good credit to get a car. They are a slow!!! In the begining of December me and my dad brought a 2001 dawoo lanos and I just got my license plates and tags for my car. The car was a out of state car and did not have Texas plates. It took almost 3 months for my plates to get here.

First,I have to get my car insecption two times. They couldn't not get the title change to my name because of inspection problems. I went through almost 5 paper tags before I got my plates. I drove to the dealership 6 times to fix the tag problm. I live in the pleasant grove area and the dealership driving back and foward is costing in gas. I told someone at the dealership that when my tags came in would they please mail them cause I live far from them. I call them Friday and ask about my tags and they said they are here for you to put up. I was really mad!!

In a year I hope I can trade my car in somewhere else so I will not have to deal with them anymore. I will not buy a car from them again!!!

About the 2001 Daewoo Lanos

Like I said in the begining me and my dad brought a 2001 Daewoo Lanos from Clay Cooley and let me tell you the car is a piece of junk. The car cost 8999.99 dollars and we put 1500 down and the car payment were $300 a month and it was a big mistake!! The car ran good for about six month and then the engine light comes on and it act like the tranmission is going out. Well, we go get the tranmission service and the car act fine. Then, Febuary of this year the tranmission goes out and I call Clay Cooley and the tell me to bring it in but I am like the car want go so you need to send a tow trunk. Well, it takes two days for them to send a two trunk and so finally the get it at there service dept. and then they tell me that they can't work on it and that they have to send it somewhere else. To make a long story short the tranmisson had to come from oversea and it took three months before I had got my car back. I had to cancel my college classes because I didn't have I way. Now, the car is acting up again and we have call and call them and they act like they don't care so me and my dad said forget this car and we are giving it back to them. We have replace and repair so many things on this car it is unreal!! I have spend probably 1500 dollars on repairs. Clay Cooley is suppose to help people who have good or bad credit but people who have bad credit they sell them piece of junk so they don't have to worried about them. I will never buy a car from this again and I don't think anyone else should either. Don't believe the informcommerical because it is crap!! Don't get scam like me and my dad did. Just because people don't have great credit doesn't mean they should be screwed.

You should be blaming the State of Texas and also Dallas County

You should be blaming the State of Texas and also Dallas County because that's who is resposible for how quickly you get your plates. The dealer has very little to do with it. Now I do agree that they could have mailed them to you once they got them back from the County.
