Complaint Review: Clayton Warichak - Von Der Stadtrand German Sheperds

Hello, I purchased an expensive show dog with a Schutzhund 3 title. Eddy was shipped to me on Dec. 14, 2006, from Clayton Warichak. Upon picking Eddy up from Customs, Home-Land security, in Nashville, while releasing Eddy from his crate at the airport, we noticed a large lump at the base of his tail.

On 12-15-06, we took Eddy to the vet and had a full examination. The lump on the base of his tail, is a tumor of some sort and is in need of surgery. Eddy also has yeast infections in both ears, and his thyroid is low. He was promissed to be a good family dog, that gets along with other dogs, cats, and horses. This was highly stressed before the purchase of Eddy. He is animal aggresive. We have other animals that have become his prey. He was well aware that we had show horses, other dogs, and a cat. Eddy wants them all for dinner.

I believe that it is crime to ship a sick animal. I also believe that it is a crime to misrepresent an animal to a future life long family. Is ther no regard to the animal? His name is Eddy, and it is not fair to him or us. He has been shipped half way around the world.

Yesterday, 12-17-06, we brought Eddy to a certified facility, and most objects seemed forein to him. His supposed scores on his Schutzund papers do not line up with his ability. We paid for a fully trained Schutzund 3, German Sheperd that gets along with other animals. None of this is true. POOR EDDY! It is not his fault. It is the irresponsibility of Clayton Warichak.
