Cleanse Shop credit card fraud Boca Ratan Florida
Signed up for and paid $5.95 (shipping) for sample of cleanse product which was shipped and received just before Christmas 2008. Took supplement for about a week with no results as advertised only intermittant abdominal cramping, so did not take any more.
On 2/16/2009 a debit to my account for $85.47 was posted. My bank supplied an 800 number. Customer service person informed me that I am a member of "whatever" and was being billed full price of $70 + in addition to shipping and handiling for the December 2008 product.
I did not sign up as a member of anything associated with this product or with their website and have not received (nor do I want to receive) any further product.
Customer Service stated that the company does not provide refunds. She stated that by not contacting this company to the contrary I was being billed the $85.47 total, which I was not aware.
Don't understand, was not clear to me that I had requested (and paid for) anything other than the sample of the product.
