CLEAR CREDIT - Consumers Beware of this ripoff! False Advertising. Aliso Viejo California
Consumers Beware! This company sent me an email offering a Free Credit Report and a chance to repair my credit at no risk to me. If I found anything on my report that shouldn't be there I could dispute it at $9.95 per item. So I signed up.
On their members page in big bright letters it says that I choose what and when to dispute. This company disputed everything on my credit report, whether good, bad, new or old. I ended up loosing $98.50 and was billed another $98.50 within 2 weeks. I contacted the company by phone and was told I should have read the terms and conditions.
PLEASE! READ TERMS AND CONDITIONS before signing up with this or any other company. In my case the Terms and Conditions told a totally different story than they advertised in thier emails and website. I had to close my account to stop them from taking more money. After the fact I checked with the Better Business Bureau and found numerous complaints on the company. The credit companies where this company made the disputes has sent me letters with information on how to file a criminal complaint with my local authorities. So Please read Terms and Conditions and check with the Better Business Bureau before doing business with Clear Credit or any other company of this nature. Thank You

Here is a phone number... If you do not ask them to stop, they will keep deducting from your bank account.

You can use to get them to stop. They have many lawsuits pending. If you do not ask them to stop, they will keep deducting from your bank account. My husband fell for this, and we had to close his account, and file a report. I wish I knew about this number then.
For all the others out there...Get copies of your credit reports. You will also receive a paper that you can fill out to dispute anything on there. Use it! It will only cost you a stamp and your time to get the ball rolling to dispute something on your credit report. I wish you well, and good luck!
