We were told that CYD could help us get out of debt, but it's not true. As a matter of fact, things are worse now. We signed up back in August 2007 and they have not settled one account for us yet. We tried getting our money back but they wanted us to wait and said they would use the money we paid them to settle some accounts. That was back in December 2008 and still nothing.
We try contact them on our accounts but they are always in meetings and never return phone calls or emails. In fact we recently asked our CYD rep to send us our whole file, via fax or email back in March and they still haven't sent us anything, but they have their best working on getting it to us. I'd like to know who their best is since we have been through I think 4 or 5 account reps. We've even tried going up the corporate ladder to see if that would help and nothing.
This company is out to help themselves to other peoples money. They don't care if they make things worse for us hard working people. I would not recommend this company to anyone since they caused us all kinds of financial problems. I am very angry and tired of hearing that other people are having this problem too.

I was told that CYD would be able to help me get out of debt by consolidating my debt and helping me to pay them off. They withdrew money every month from my account which I understood was to pay off my creditors. They ended up taking $1500.00 in all.
Each time I called I had to fight to get a call back. When I finally did get the last call (January of 2007) regarding what was going on - their response was move to Texas, they don't attach wages there. I was repeatedly told that the accounts would not go to collections nor would my wages be attached. What I was not told is that I could have called the creditors myself and made arrangements for a lowered interest rate and/or final settlement amount for free.
I would love to see this company closed down and the money returned to the honest people who wanted to pay off their bills. It was not my intent to not pay my creditors....I just needed help.
