I was making a purchase on a reputable website, overstock.com, and a pop-up appeared with the title "overstock clearance" which really looked like it was part of the overstock.com company. I clicked on the link and was taken to what I thought was overstock.com's clearance site. There was a tablet listed for $94.00 with the regular price of $399. I ordered this item. Immediately afterward, I checked the model of the item on other retail sites, and it was listed for the same price, never $399. So, I decided to cancel my order. I went to overstock.com to cancel it, and my order was not there. After receiving an email message, I realized it was a different company, called clearance.co. I went to their website to cancel the order and there was no custmer service information available. You could create a "ticket" with a request on the site and submit it for response. So, I created a ticket asking to cancel te order. I heard back 3 days later, with a message stating that due to rapid processing, my order could not be cancelled. So I asked if I could return it once I received it. I got another response saying returns are not accepted, unless items are damaged. So, I am stuck with this item. To make matters even worse,it is not arriving for one month. I find it hard that it could not be cancelled when it is not even going to be shipped for a month. I am reportng this incident to overstock.com, and hopefully, they will find a way to prevent this company from misleading consumers to think it is part of their company. Overstock.com is awesome. You can cancel any order, return an order, and they are legitimate. This clearance.co is a scam.
