I was sent a letter in the mail stating that I had won a sweepstakes for $750,000. It also had a check enclosed for $2,900 for taxes. It seemed very legitimate with a phone number to contact Mr. Eric North to recieve the rest of my money. It also had a number to contact a supposed IRS agent regarding the tax information.

I called the number given to me, and left a message for Mr. North to call me back. I also tried to call the IRS agent and the number was disconnected. The next morning I decided to call again and spoke to Mr. North and he explained that it was a legitimate sweepstakes and that to recieve the rest of the money all I had to do was deposit the check into the bank and call them back. Being that I didn't remember ever entering a sweepstakes, I decided to go online and check the company's name. That is when I found this site. I was outraged that this company is still getting away with this scam and have contacted my local FBI branch. I suggest that if you recieve this letter, you do the same. This should no longer be allowed to continue.
