Complaint Review: Clearview Lending Services

I returned a phone call to the company on 10/27/08 after I found them online while looking for a personal loan. Jeff Albertson sent me a fax, I looked it over after I looked up the company on the BBB of Central Flordia. There were no complaints against the company at that time so I returned the contract and a deposit for the loan on 10/30/08. I assumed that loan worked like a mortage loan, we put a deposit on our mortage loan. On 10/31/08 Glann Russell contacted us that the company was requiring additional deposit (which contract stated might happen) and again (not thinking) I paid more money. No loan ever came to us, on November 4 I contacted another person by the name of David Gray (very very rude). He explained that the loan company was breaking our contract and that we would get a reund on 11/28/08 for the amount we paid plus any fees for the moneygram. Noone will confirm that the refund is still coming or if they got the fax for the proof of the fees that we have paid. After digging some more on 11/17/08 I found numerous other people on Yahoo Answer that have the same problem with this company and noone has seem a refund yet. I have filed reports with the State Attorney General of Michigan, IC3.com and also recol.ca (canadian Gov). I hope that noone else falls for this scam and the word gets out about this company.
