I ordered a boxed set of Father Dowling Mysteries as a gift for my mom on 11/24/09 and was informed by e-mail that my order had been placed and would be shipped for receipt within 10-14 days.  I should've been clued in when the shipping charges were $16 - because it was being shipped from China!


I sent an inquiry about my shipment on 12/8, and received a response from Alice Schneider, CSR (yeah, right) providing me with a USPS tracking number, which appears legit.  When attempting to track this item with the postal service, it says that it being held by customs for shipment - and the status has remained the same since 12/2.  I believe this is a bogus number that is provided to everyone with the same non-receipt complaint.


I will be contacting my credit card company next week if I have not received said merchandise so they can hopefully chargeback this company.  Wsh I had researched this further before ordering.  Do not do any business with this company, unless you wish to be frustrated, hassle with your credit card company and ripped off!
