Complaint Review: Clicksmart.com

This is a company to avoid doing business with. I was my understanding they were affiliated with Yahoo and that they handle the web advertising for them. I was told there was a limited number of contractors (3) to be on the advertising page in my region of NJ. Now there is 8 in several made up categories, but all contractors. I also share the page with many other trades. It was my understanding that 3 contractors would pop up and then be directed to the respective websites. That is not the way it works.

It is directed to another page of theirs that they made up of your company. they provide you with monthly reports, with no backup. They claim that I have had almost 2000 hits when i didn't receive 1 single call! No emails, no calls, nothing. When I complained that there are no calls coming in, they blamed it on me. I have been in this business for 25 years. I have a nice website showcasing some of my latest work. If people are actually "getting" to my website, they would be requesting more information.

They are threatening to put me in collections as i did pull the credit card number i gave them. I would expect that they have a pretty good relationship with their collections company. I am sure they use them daily with what i am reading on the web.

Bottom Line- AVOID CLICKSMART!!!
