Client Services Inc. Dishonest misrepresentation by employee. Threatening, pushy, and deliberately obnoxious! St Charles, Missouri
JS from Client Services represented himself as being from the pre-legal department of BOA. He was very unprofessional and demanding telling us we were going to be sued for non-payment of a debt we owed BOA. JS even went so far as to tell us Client Services could take our home (the amount owed is not for a mortgage). JS insisted that we provide bank account information so that automatic payments could be deducted from our account or legal proceedings would be started against us. We were truly intimidated by JS so we complied. We told him that our attorney was working with us on a separate issue and that he could explain better our situation, but JS told us once our attorney was involved he could no longer negotiate with his legal department on our behalf. JS told us that we were granted a hardship from BOA and the payment was going to be $500 per month. That was more than the minumum payment due on the note. This was clearly a lie!
We are responsible hard working people who have always paid our bills and honored our obligations. In the last 5 years we have suffered 3 job losses due to out-sourcing and a medical crisis with no medical benefits. For over 2 years we had no income at all. Like so many Americans we found ourselves in financial trouble. We contacted BOA, explained the situation and were in the process of being granted a hardship when up pops Client Services trying to collect a debt. We cannot understand how BOA could allow a company like Client Services to try and collect a debt which was in the process of being put into hardship status with a lower interest rate, allowing the debt to be eventually paid.
We have contacted Client Services via written certified communication asking for a statement clearly showing the amount we owe, interest rate charged, etc with NO response.
Why do big banks like BOA lead consumers on, while they no they are working with vultures like Client Services. BOA has lost a customer of over 30 years, not that they care. I guess we as consumers have to learn to lie, cheat, and steal just like the big banks and collection agencies.
