does not have a legitimate shipping business, which is operational. He uses the investors' money for his personal use, including travels throughout the caribbean and the US.
Clifford operates a ponzi scheme. He borrows the money of new investors to pay off the money he borrowed from previous investors. Clifford then disappears when he cannot find new investors or when he is unable to make any payments to investors.
