Clockwork Home Services Deceptive Advertising for non-existent jobs Nashville Tennessee
Beware and avoid this company. One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning Service is a franchise of Clockwork Home Services. They continually advertise for employees for positions that do not exist. There ads promise $100,000- $150,000 per year but THERE IS NO JOB. They will not return phone calls or e-mails and apparently are only interested in SELLING you a franchise!! The local contact is listed as Steve Bruce and I doubt if he is anything other than a trigger mechanism for SELLING franchises. Clockwork Home Services is the parent company and evidently they are so far removed from this situation that they know and don't care or just too ignorant to realize the franchisees are engaged in these bait and switch practices. Either way, AVOID this company, both as someone looking for a career or someone in need of heating and air conditioning services. There are legitimate companies in Middle Tennessee who are honest and want your business. Too bad companies like One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning Service are so desperate for franchises that they prey on and deceive the people of Nashville.

I went to a seminar last week from a branch of this company. The job ads are just a marketing tool to sell their services. The technicians work on commission. A normal 100 repair could cost 350 dollars. Not for me. I have to look in the mirror.

My name is Steve Bruce. I am the General Manager of One Hour Air Conditioning and Heating located at 529 Myatt Drive, Madison, TN 37115. You have an incorrect opinion of the ad that I have posted on Monster.com. We are a Local Nashville, Tn. retail store and part of an international heating and air conditioning company located just 5 miles northeast of Nashville in Madison, Tn. We have 41 employees at this location and we employ over 1,000 people in North America at other One Hour locations.
The ad that I had posted on Monster.com is to fill two Home Comfort Advisor positions. One of those positions has been filled and there is one still available. Top performers in our industry earn well over $150,000 per year of personal income by communicating our products and services with our customers utilizing an On Time Can't Lose offer. In response to the above posting, I received two resumes from individuals named Curtis. I responded to one and the other I left a voice mail.
