James Stoudenmire is the proprietor of this website and goes by the name "clockman". The website is complete and seems professional but it stops there.

I conversed via email with Mr. Stoudenmire over the purchase of an expensive clock movement. He cashed my personal check over three months ago but I have not received my movement.

Attempts to contact Mr. Stoudenmire by email are ignored and the Clockworks listed phone number now has a screening feature making it impossible to contact the firm. I was able to reach Mr. Stoudenmire by phone once and he said that the movement was being shipped to him from Germany and would be shipped to me in a day or so. That was a month ago. Since that time I have been unable to get through the "screen" he has set up around his so-called business.

BEWARE of this site as it is not legitimate. Email contact is easy until the money is in his hands...afterwards all is lost. I will be reporting him to the FTC and BBB of Massachusetts.

I should have checked Ripoffreport.com before doing business with this firm as others have been ripped off by Stoudenmire before. Very poor business practice.
