Close Combat Company Close Combat Training Company Offers Self Defense Videos but charges your credit card for supplements you didn't order Middletown, New Jersey
Captain Chris at Close Combat Company offers self defense DVD's. The DVD's come with a bottle of vitamins that you weren't expecting.
A week or so later you get a notice that your credit card has been charged $59.95 for additional "supplements" being shipped.
There is an address for help; http://www.CloseCombatHelp.com; but you can never get through to it.
If you send a reply to a later email from him you get a "do not reply" email from him stating "Gee, I wish there were 60 Hours in a day, I didn't need sleep, or I had 12 arms, but I just don't have time to answer your email. Go to (the non functional help address above). "
I write "Return to Sender" on anything I get from Close Combat but I guess I'm going to have to cancel my credit card to stop the charges.

Over time, I have purchased everything Captain Chris has to offer, and the only time there have been recurring charges is when I purchased something with a payment plan that should be charged monthly. Further, their customer service staff are rapid responders, very courteous and professional at all times.
No one should ever hesitate to do business with Close Combat Company. They know well the meaning of integrity, and do their business exactly as they should. Personally, I have to wonder about whoever made the report here against them. If they had a problem and had contacted them then I have no doubt it would have been taken care of.
