My experience with Closet World could be word for word with any one of the others appearing on this site. I regret not researching this outfit before contracting with them and paying a deposit.

This project was scheduled to start on 23 May 2005 and to be completed on 24 May 2005. It was completed on 17 June 2005. The working days available to Closet World to complete this project were May 23-27, June 6-10, and June 13-17.

This entire experience was one of schedules not kept, promises not kept, and total lack of communication. By these I mean: installers not arriving at the scheduled time, no phone calls to inform me of a delay in arrival, installer promising to return at a certain time the next day and never arriving. I spent most of three weeks rearranging my life to accommodate these people; I felt as though I were chained to my home, a prisoner.

The designer/sales representative was truly and well-indoctrinated in the "sell it and forget it" mode. The contact people in the installation/customer service department (a joke) knew only one tune: "We're running just a little bit late."

The installers just didn't show up as promised, and no reason was ever given.

I have kept a day-by-day time line of schedules, calls, and promises not kept: it runs to 3 and a half pages. I have sent copies to the Better Business Bureaus in southern California and north-central Arizona. Not that I expect any results. Nor should anyone who does (or tries) to do business with this outfit.

I asked the installation department why they were treating me this way. The response: "We treat all of our customers the same!" That should tell anyone what Closet World thinks of their customers.
