I bought a Groupon for $99 to get 3 facials and a new thing called Nu-Face (suppose to tighten your facial skin). I called and made and appt and went to my fist visit. The woman that was going to do it, Rachel, has had some serious plastic surgeries done! She has had HUGE cheekbones and the biggest lip implants or massive amounts of Juvederm.....I was a little scared. I asked about the Nu Face treatment and she told me it was little electric currents that stimulated the facial muscles and kinda moved them around and into place, according to where she put the applicator. First, she cleansed my face and then did microderm abrasion. I have had microderm done before and she did it wrong! When I left and looked at my face, not only did the Nu Face NOT produce ANY visual results at all, but my face was bleeding from the microderm. I have pretty tough skin and have had peels and so forth and have never had my face bleed! There was an inch long scab on my face for about a week.
I called her for the second appt and expressed my concerns about the Nu Face and that I did not see any results. She told me, "Well, I didnt really have much to work with". Now, she is trained in this and if she thought the thing was not going to work, then why did she do it????.
I was late to my second appt, due to construction traffic in Mt Pleasant and Downtown, but I called her ten minuted before my appt and told her I may be a little late. She called me five minutes after my appt was to start and cancelled ME and told me I would have to reschedule bc she had another client after me. So, I went to Facelogic and tried the Nu Face there. Again, did NOT work.
I had an appt today, the reschedule, technically my second of three appts, and I called ahead of time and said, in a non threatening tone, that I did not think the Nu Face worked on me and I would like a refund for the UNunsed sessions. I thought maybe we could trade out and I could get facials or product instead. I never cancelled my appt.
I arrived 20 mins early and Rachel was sitting outside. While I was walking up, she verbally attacked me and told me she was not doing anything for me, no refund and because I did not cancel my appt within 24 hours, she was not giving me anything. I never cancelled my appt. I showed up! She told me to take it up with Groupon. Yeah, like thats going to get me anywhere.
Facelogic sells these Nu Face devices for $250 and says to use it everyday bc the effects only last 2 or 3 days. Rachel told me they last a LONG time. I got NOTHING but assaulted and attacked by this Rachel girl and lost not only time, money and a bad facial, but I have lost faith in anyone claiming their product works. This girl is NUTS! She screamed at me and told me that I need to see a counselor bc I have dysmorphic issues. What?? SHE is the one with the implants and HUGE fish lips and tattoos all over her, not me. I am a housewife, living in Mt Pleasant and trying to look my best for my husband.
I dont know if Cloud 9 Spa's owner is aware that she has a sociopath working in her salon, but I would NEVER recommend anyone going there and will definitely spread the word about the terrible service!

Groupon refunded my money..........all I lost is time, which I deem valuable.
You can say whatever you want, but I take care of myself and if I had three facials in three WEEKS, then so WHAT?? You are going to give me a hard time for taking care of my skin? You are a phony and I hope that people read what you did and go to a dermatologist office to get REAL facials done.

I have your intake to which you signed stating all the things I said and again the machine message of you canceling
I used a Clarasonic brush on your face as I stated and told you it was not microdermabrasion . Actually 3 times I had to tell you . As you kept saying this doesn't feel like microdermabrasion . There can be no bleeding from a Clarasonic brush
I will not argue with you as I told you when you drove up and accosted me that I will not scream or yell wih you. You know the truth as well as I do and others. There was the owner directly inside the window I sat in front of watching and listening
I shall not continue. Truth wins out and I wish you the best someone that goes for 3 facial treatments to 3 diff places in one week
( supposedly keeping the appt with me after I scared you and scarred you then going to face logic to get same treatment then to urban nirvana yesterday) is in need of something I can not nor will not provide

50 units of Botox?? 70% glycolic every night? My face would be paralyzed and completely stripped!
I wash my face with a gentle cleanser and I have not had Botox in my forehead in over 4 months.....and it was about 12 units...very little.
Also, there was NOT anyone outside when you were verbally assaulting me. I also did NOT cancel my appt yesterday, I showed up 20 mins early. I also NEVER said I was happy with the Nu Face and also voiced my displeasure when I spoke to you again. You told me that I didnt really have any skin to tighten. If that was the case, why would you even use the thing on me? You even told me you had it on FULL STRENGTH to try to get an effect. Also, explain why I had a scab on my face the next day, for a week. You said it was microderm that you were using.
I tipped you bc I am a good person and always tip someone that service's me. I am not a rude person, nor did I ever call you names, until now, I am telling you, you are a sociopath.
I have had facials in the past and have never had such an experience as what you gave me. From now on, I will only get them done at a dermatologist office, bc at least I know that THEY know what they are doing!
You could have offered me a different service or maybe product, in exchange for the Nu Face, but instead, you became aggressive and confrontational in the parking lot, when I was walking up. I had not even had a chance to say anything and you left me dumbstruck.
If you are too cheap to return my UNused portion of the Groupon, then I guess I will be justified when you lose more than that in business :)
You can try to tell lies about me, but you know what you did and I know the truth! Good luck and bless your heart......you are going to need it.

Hello First off let me start with the fact i am not full of juvaderm. LOL. Secondly as for this report. i have the phone message that Lauren Left saying she was not coming in and wanted her money back that was left a half hour before her appt.
The first appt i did not do a microderm, i used a clarasonic brush with a skin polish to exfoliate her. there was absolutely NO bleeding. the client also said at the end when handed a mirror how happy she was. she said she saw results immediately. She also had told me she had over 50 units of botox in her forehead alone, so i said i would not do the forhead area. she also said she was going through IPL and i advised she may want to wait, to which she said no i want it now. I was also told by her she uses 70% glycolic acid personally at home on her face( where she gets it from i do not know, but only a DR. can get that strength.) and uses a " at home micro dermabrasion machine, and retin a all over EVERY NIGHT!!
She insisted upon this treatment as I said, then was happy, even tipped me $20. who tips $20 when "scared" or "afraid and bleeding"?
this woman also missed her second appt and when she called( a half hour after the time) told me she really wanted to come because she was happy with the treatment. All went downhill from there when i told her she needed to reschedule as it was not fair to the next client. she then called me names and said if i have to reschedule i will.
she then went to ANOTHER place to get the same treatment she claims did not work? is there any sense in that?
I have never attacked anyone and when i explained that she missed one appt and then cancleed this i could not giver her her money back she then attacked my looks ( i was in a major car accidednt 4 years ago and have been going through reconstructive surgery) i still told her i can not help her and this was not a good fit for her. How could I attack her when she pulled up in front of the business and tattacked me as the business owner watched.?
Obviously from the character assasination and name calling i did the correct thing. I have many, many clients that will attest to the fact this works and they are truly happy with not only the results but with me as well.
I can not give money back to a groupon because groupon takes 1/2 and has not paid me anyway yet. she would have had to take this up woth them no matter whom she was getting services with.
