Clovis Marine is an awful place, run by awful people who have no morals--they will try to cheat you. They will lie to you. They are NOT good people for many reasons.
Let me share our story.
We were in the market for a boat. We had been to the lake on various occasions. We saw the LUND boat. We thought that boat would meet our expectations and needs.
We wondered into the shop of Clovis Marine. From the very beginning I was ill at ease. I could not put my finger on why. We shopped around then left with a quote. That quote later turned out to be a bait and switch routine.
Our second visit I overheard two employees laughing about how Clovis Marine had ripped off the owner of a boat. They were having a good chuckle about it all when they saw me. A young lady and some younger guy.
I talked to the owner but found him to be foul and strange. Almost creepy. His politics is to the right of the right. He is a racist. A bigot and a homophobe. His wife is not much better. She is sneaky. And a liar.
We rented a boat for the weekend. We spoke to many who owned boats about his shop. They all had the same comment. Run--avoid---get away---stay away---.
We talked to the competitors who all had bad things to say about the Flums. Including his nasty mouth. Including repairs that are poor. Including his arrogance when getting caught doing lousy work.
The other boat shops also said to run away.
We bought a new boat from a dealer elsewhere. We did not like the treatment we got at Clovis Marine and urge anyone reading to do your homework. Talk to other boat owners. Talk to other shops. Talk ask--inquire and you will see what everyone else says.

LIES AND FABRICATED STORIES...If you read the reports, you will find a similar tone and content. That's because all reports have been written by one person. He has assumed the identity of another Boat dealer, an ex-employee and even assumed my identity to report lies about another dealer who would not side with him against Clovis Marine. Our understanding is that he has a long history of such behavior. Not sure, but I think he has broken several laws. It is also unfortunate that our freedom of speech allows this company to provide a web site where anyone can post lies and then offers to work with you, FOR A FEE, to help salvage your reputation. Sounds like extortion to me. Clovis Marine has been in business 19 years and we plan to be around for many more to come. We have an awesome reputation for honest, quality work. We are a dealer for Honda, Mercury, Yamaha & Volvo Penta. We use only OME parts as that is why we became a dealer. Our employees are factory trained and our shop is equipped with all the tools necessary to perform quality repairs. We would be happy to provide a long list references who have purchased boats or who have been long-term service customers. The Owner
