I have been a Club Pogo member since 2003. In that time, I have accumulated about 450 badges, 4 million tokens, and have paid 4 years worth of membership fees, including the annual 39.00 fee that I just paid to them 3 weeks ago that should pay me up until March of 2008. I have invested a lot of time and money into this game site.

a couple of weeks ago I was on the site playing a game and someone came into the room I was in and began insulting me. At first I ignored them. (I could not get the mute button to work) Eventually they began to get under my skin, so I defended myself by telling the people to shut up and go to ----. That person reported me and I was placed under a "temporary 72 hour hour suspension" for a terms of service violation.

I was okay with this, I mean. I didn't have to say what I said to them so I accepted it graciously. 8 days had gone by and my suspension had not been lifted. I was able to log into the site but it wouldn't let me play any games. I contacted pogo through email and asked them when the suspension would be lifted. 24 hours later I recieved a response indicating that my email had been responded to and that I needed to log onto the EA Games website in order to view that response. I tried to do so and recieved a message that stated: THIS ACCOUNT HAS BEEN TERMINATED AND CANNOT BE LOGGED ON. I tried to log onto the Club Pogo site and was given the same message. This time I could not even log in at all, so they deleted my account and gave me NO explanation!

I found their phone number and called them and they told me I had REPEATED terms of service violations. I asked them to provide proof of this and was told that they would email it to me. I asked for a refund and was told that they would email a response to that also. 2 days later, I recieved the same message from them, stating that I need to log onto the EA website to view the reply. Of course, I could not log on. I called them back and was told that they will not be refunding my money. I asked them to review the conversation that I had with the person in the chatroom that night so that they could see that I did not start the trouble. They said that that couldn't.

So I am out of the $39.00 that I had just paid them for a year membership 3 weeks ago, I am out of 450 badges, and millions of tokens. I am extremely upset and something needs to be done!
