Seller entered into a contract with Buyer(me) on 03/25/2005 on eBay.com (item #5963608228) to exchange the winning bid for an air conditioner. Seller refused to answer several telephone calls and emails until three weeks later when I left him a negative feedback.

He suddenly began contacting me and told me via email that since I had left a negative feedback for him, he was giving my property to the Salvation Army. I offered to remove it via the Mutual Feedback Withdrawal, but he still refused. This just confirmed that the negative feedback problem was just an excuse not to sell to me.

Seller has been shady and dishonest through the whole process, and refuses to enforce the contract we have entered into. I have searched other websites and posting forums and have found that he has a problem with following through with his customers. There are several independent comments on other websites where people paid him thousands of dollars and they still do not have their golf clubs.

His eBay feedback profile shows this trend as well with several derogatory comments in reference to his lack of commitment, and his only excuse is that parts took a long time. He was a very coarse person to deal with as well, with rude and somewhat irritating comments, kind of like a truck stop or bar.

this guy is an absolute nut case and a liar.  I mean I have no doubt that I had some dealings with him, because frankly, he described my bristlely personality to a tee, but I did not steal from him just as I never stole from any of my other customers that paid me "thousands of dollars" for golf clubs.  Let me add, I can count the number of customers that paid me "thousands of dollars" for golf clubs on one hand.  My average set of custom made clubs sold for around $300.

As far as my lack of "committment" as reported by Joseph the Liar from Phelan, the very few negative eBay feedbacks I had were typically from kooks like this guy or people who would order custom built clubs, take 3 days to pay and then expect the clubs to be in their mailbox the next afternoon.  I kid you not when I tell you that people would literally expect them to be made and shipped within a few hours after waiting a week to pay.  And yes, from time to time, parts to build custom made golf clubs would be out of stock or on backorder.  If you've ever owned a business that depended on several suppliers, you know that parts are out of stock from time to time. It's inconvenient but it happens.

I honestly have zero recollection of this transaction after 13 years, but I will say if I went ballistic on you and threatened to give your merchandise to the Salvation Army instead of sending it to you, you likely did everything to deserve it.  So, hey, Joseph, GFY.  I hope you're still sitting around sweating up a storm wiith no A/C.
