Complaint Review: CMB & Associates

Representatives from this company left a threatening message on my phone making references to previous attempts to contact which were ignored.  That was the first clue as to the company's credibility, or lack of, as no previous contact had been attempted.  These deceptive practices will not earn respect for any business.

They presented themselves as a legal firm referencing a case number.  Wanting to find out what this issue was about I returned the call and was bullied over the phone as well as pumped for information which I didn't give out.  When I inquired as to who they were I got 'smart a*s' responses.  They had not verified their information and were calling the wrong number.  Of course this took two phone calls to find out as after the representative gave me a few choice words they hung up the phone in the middle of a sentence.  I had to call back again as I wanted to find out if this was a con in order to protect people from the bullying tactics used against me. 

I would never want this business to represent my firm in trying to collect a debt as many times in this 'Age of fraud' that we live in things aren't always what they seem.  This company, in my opinion, will expose you to unnecessary liabilities.
