On May 23, 2007 CMD Wholesale sent a personal email to me offering a Memorial Day Blow Out Sale on 1000 pieces of new with tags current high end merchandise apparel for $6750 and an average retail value of $68 per piece. Nicci & Nancy at CMD told me that it was a result of overstocks to Von Mauer department store and verbally assured me that the clothing was high end and new with original tags. They told me that it was a great product for resale on EBAY. I have an EBAY store.

I was urged to immediately wire transfer the funds to their bank account as they were just about out of stock. I wired the money on May 24, 2007 and then none of my calls were returned. They previously assured me that they would ship immediately upon receipt of the wired money.

On June 4, 2007 there were 19/20 boxes delivered from CMD Wholesales warehouse in Athens, ME by UPS. The 20th box was missing and I was told by CMD that they would initiate a claim for $695. Today, July 5th, after 12 emails to them, they finally responded that I would only receive $125.

On June 4, 2007 I began to open the remaining 19 boxes and to my horror I discovered that the majority of the clothing items were extensively damaged, ripped, torn, filthy, previously worn, no tags, ripped linings, missing buttons, sweat stains, blood stains, and were low end names like Jockey, Sag Harbor etc. I immediately called CMD and initiated an RMA (return merchandise authorization). Days and days went by without communication from CMD. I repeadedly called them and they refused to talk with me but did tell me that everytime I called my request would go to the bottom of the list and would delay a resolution. I sent over 25 digital photos of the damaged merchandise.

Finally on June 241, 2007 I was told by Nancy that CMD decided that I was responsible for the damaged items and that they had many satisfied customers and they just couldn't understand why I would make up this story. I asked for the name of the owner of the company. She refused to provide this information. She gave me an address on Silverside Road in Wilmington, DE.

I filed reports with the Deleware States Attorney, BBB of Deleware, US Postal Service, Federal Trade Commission & IC3 for Internet Fraud. No one has been able to locate this company's headquarters or been able to help. The DE States Attorney went to the Silverside address and verified that it is a phony address and CMD does not exist.

I also called UPS to report that they are transporting goods for a company that has defrauded me out of almost $7000. Surprisingly, they did not have a mechanism for me to report this activity and nor did they appear to care.

Good luck to anyone who does business with this company. Be particulary carefull when you are asked to wire money instead of using credit card. Nancy is particularly hostile when it comes to customer service and will be quick to blame the customer.

CMD Wholesale My Web Wholesaler Nicci Homenick Nicole Rip Off Deceptive Damaged Merchandise

This company needs to be investigated by the Federal Trade Commission and IC3 for Internet Fraud. I have reported them to every agency from the BBB in Deleware and the Deleware State Attorney to the US Postal Service. They ship their fradulent goods through their Athens, ME warehouse using UPS, but UPS is not interested in knowing about the type of damaged goods that they shipped to me. CMD filed a claim for my missing box of what was probably more filthy damaged clothing and collected the money over 4 weeks ago. I hounded them to fax a copy of the claim to me along with my money. I never received any proof of the claim, but finally received just $125 from them which is 36% of the value of the claim. BIG QUESTION...where is the rest of the money?

PLEASE be aware if you engage in business with these people that you do so with the understanding that you may either not get what you think you are paying for be prepared for a long and unsatisfactory battle trying to get compensation. These women are nasty and elusive and consistently over promise and under deliver. Right now they have an exclusive contract to sell COACH bags at a rediculous price...however COACH needs to crack down on allowing them to have this merchandise. Good luck to any and all that enter into business with this unethical company. If you do, please report your eperiences to The Federal Trade Commission and IC3.
