They sold me a car and at the end it cost me more than we agreed on and the said it was to late the papers had been signed. well I only had the car 4 or 5 days and it started falling apart. I also got laid off and I remembered that as a consumer I had 30 to change my mind so I brought it back to them and they agreed that they would resale the car and I was free and clear. well two years later bad credit reports was the first I heard of owing them any thing. and it wasnt just maybe the ballance of what they didnt get in the resale they wanted the intire ballance in full. I tried to offer monthly notes to them just to save my credit. they turned it down they wanted the intire $6,000.00 for a car that souldnt have been worth $1,000.00. I know one thing for shure consumer law states in the law books that when a consumer offers to pay any amount and they refuse because of any reason they break the contract. I wish there was an attorny who would help me. and another thing something is only supossed to stay on your credit report for six or seven years. its going past seven years on mine and its still there. Help

It's on your report because the collection agency/agencies keep selling the collection account to different companies. Once it falls off or getting ready to fall off, the current holder will sell it to another collection agency or maybe the same one will keep it but give it a different account number, just like people do that do not pay taxes for their stores/business for a determined amount of time, when the time limit is up and the US says " ok now you have been in this country long enough to have your business prosporous it's time to pay taxes" the current owner will put the store in a friends or relatives name that has the same tax break so they can continue to not pay taxes but charge their patrons taxes on everything in the store including food.

this is a ripoff company because they ripped me also, make certain that it has been 7 years since the last time of contact. and also you need to get the documents that state they sold the car or dispute the information through all three credit bureaus and tell them that this car was sold and the balance is incorrect.
