Complaint Review: CNC Raven Tony Taves

my father and i were in the market for a CNC router, and looked at many companies. during a family visit in AZ, my father met up with Tony, to check out his product.

my father knows tools, and after seeing all of tonys product, he decided it was great. all aluminum extruded rails, great machine work, good program, and great hardware. overall, an awesome machine.

so he upgraded our initial order, to a 4foot X 5foot table, a few extra gizmos, the extra router bases package, and the computer to run the machine.

my father returned home with good news. he sent in the down payment, which was half of the total cost. that was when it started turning sour.

Tony did not return calls or emails. we must not have been the only one, on many occasions, his voicemail was full, so we couldnt be alone. after weeks he finally returned our call, to give us a story about hospitals, and sickness.

we accepted the apology, under his word that it would be sent out in the next few weeks. Needless to say, no CNC, no more phone conversations.

so, long story short, this man screwed us, he took half of the total cost of the machine, never returned calls, and never sent a machine.

he had led us on so long, that its been a little over a year, with no machine, and it may be too late to try and get any back.
