Provider contacted me in June after 3 yrs of being a loyal costumer that they finally had a new tower in place to increase the speed.  They offered me 10Mbps DOWN and 5Mbps Upload for the same rate IF i signed a new contract for 2 years - which I did.

July and August and part of September I received promised speeds.

Suddenly around the middle of September I noticed severe drop in upload speed and started checking.  And am consistently getting much less than promised. Like 1Mbps on average.  They guarantee 70% (actually they guarantee nothing per their own words) but they give you no more than 70%,  I have documentation, signed contract with their agreement to support the 10-5mbps, but they simply try to loophole you around the contract by offering me now those speeds 5Mbps upload for $500 PER MONTH.

Thus, if you are interested in using them, READ and QUESTION their contract and make clear statements of what you expect of them or go with (((redacted))) who also services SFE outer areas.  If you're in the city area you are best of with (((redacted))) internet who has the best rates and professional services.

They were very eager to get me to sign the contract in a hurry before the upgrade for some reason.  Even after being a customer of three years.   Also their contract which is online is somewhat different from the contract I signed.   I am filing complaints with the BBB and the AG of NM, but I know how fast ripoff post their complaints and want to warn those who are considering CNSP's services before you get your hopes up, you may want to think about it.

At the time of this writing, they had also let go of their Tech Support person, whom was always very friendly and accomodating.  Since I often paid in person, I did in the 3 years see more than normal office personnel turn over, which to me indicates they are having trouble with not just their candor to their customer base but also dissatisfaction with their employees.

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company, ..plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome. CLICK here to see why Rip-off Report, as a matter of policy, deleted either a phone number, link or e-mail address from this Report. In this case we removed an alleged competitors name

Absolute BUNK response!

#3Author of original report

I just came upon this bunk reply from mr.  albert catanach!

As you can see I filed the original report here on 2.22.12.    This had NOTHING to do with my former hobby of dog breeding!  But, to be clear, he can't use that excuse, because as to the occasional litter bred, the LAST one was in 2011.

The "service" was dialed down without notification, I suddenly experienced all sorts of hickups, thus I started to inquire what was wrong.  At first they were denying it, but I use speed tests thus it was clear they were dialing down.   It suddenly became clear the Tech person was also unaware and had just followed what he was told to do.

Finally, when i went over to the office IN PERSON to find out more, the bomb dropped with the truth that my speeds were turned down and that the contract was invalid because the girl who did it had no authorization to do so!  SAY WHAT?  she was in sales?  and later relieved of her duties.

Don't let them rope you in, READ THE CONTRACT NO MATTER HOW TEDIOUS!!!

Hopes this helps someone!

Customer (Gina Kasbergen) Claims We Contracted with Her for a 5Mbps Upload but we did not

#3REBUTTAL Owner of company

Wed, February 22, 2012

This cusomter, Ms. Gina Kasbergen claims that we contracted with her a 5Mbps Upload speed but she is incorrect.  We would ask that the customer provide the documentation showing how we contracted with her for that service?  This customer is upset because she runs a dog breeding company in which she displays cameras and allows her customers to view the dogs over the Internet.  The customer found out that our upload speeds could go faster than the contracted 1Mbps upload that she contracted with.  She then demanded that we give her 5Mbps upload and claimed that we promissed this to her, which in fact we did not.  Most or all commericail ISPs do not offer residential customers uploads past 2Mbps.  We did however give the customer a price quote for a 5Mbps Up and 5Mbps down connection and she became very erratic and upset.  As far as being ripped off, we believe that this customer is merely trying to bash the company.  If you so happen to read this report, we would ask that call us and we will be more than happy to provide you with at least 3-5 references of people who are really happy with the service.  Unfortunately, we tried working with Ms. Kasbergen, but she did not want to work with us and only stated that she will do everything in her power to bash us.  In addition, it should be noted that we had always provided the customer with their contracted rate.  For more information, please send us an email at info@cnsp.com
