CNV Corvette Sales consumer ripoff Tempe Arizona
My wife purchased a glove box door (on e-bay) for my 1963 Corvette from CNV. The picture on e-bay showed a slight scratch on the clear plastic face of the door (the text described it as a "crack".) When the door arrived, it wasn't scratched or cracked, it was 100% broken clean through - quite different from the picture.
When she protested to Pete Ciadella, the proprietor, he e-mailed her a completely different picture and claimed that she got exactly what she bargained for. After some additional badgering, Pete agreed to a credit if we returned the door.
A credit is unacceptable, I will not be dealing with these people again - Pete Ciadella has taken to calling me "tough guy" and will not negotiate or even return e-mails. I have complained to the BBB and I shall post this complaint on E-bay.
Pete and CNV add new dimensions to the term "Caveat Emptor" (let the buyer beware.)

I saw the auction where you bought this. The item was listed correctly. It said it was cracked from being dropped. If you look at the pictures, you can see it wasn't just cracked on the clear window, it was cracked clear accross. I think you should have paid more attention to the photos.

Take that pesky 63 Vette to Long Beach, put in on the Hawaii-bound ship, and mail me the title. You won't have any more problems searching for parts.
