I have Coach-net roadside assistance insurance. I filed a claim which they refused to pay. We broke down in remote area of the Yukon with no cell service and 300 miles from nearest services. I flagged down passerby and asked them to call police for us-no one came. Finally someone came back and said that they called a tow for us. We sat by the side of the road for 30 hours (we are 65 and 74) not knowing if anyone was coming. When I got to cell service the next day I called Coachnet and explained. She said to send claim with a letter of explanation. I had no way to call them first. What good is Ëmergency"insurance if it is no good in a REAL emergency? They do not even offer to pay a portion. They do not even say that they had a cheaper provider and pay that price. They probably would have called the same AAA approved service. They are using a technicality to deny paying-even though it would be impossible to comply. Wish I had never heard of them. We are out $4700. Customers should be aware of how they look for reasons not to pay.
