Complaint Review: Coach Outlet Store Online

I saw an ad on Facebook advertising Coach handbags at deep discount through the "Coach Outlet Store Online".  I couldn't afford one, but I thought, darn it, I may never get this chance again to have a nice handbag for as good a price (A $398. satchel for 72.00). 

I was so excited that I didn't stop to notice that the store had no advertised phone number or fax.  There was the usual "Contact Form" box for questions, and I didn't notice at the time that there was no listed email address either.

The website looked legitimate to me.  When the bag arrived and I saw how awful the quality was (we're talking a cheap WalMart purse for $9.99 retail) I politely requested a refund.  Their policy said returns would be accepted within 7 days, with a Return Authorization.  I emailed them repeatedly, asking for instructions, an address and authorization.  Silence. 

I now own an almost worthless purse, with terrible workmanship and a terrible plastic smell (it's supposed to be leather) for a total outlay of $85.00.

I feel SO cheated, and I don't want anyone else to be ripped off, as I was.  I should have done my research before I purchased, and I guess that's the lesson from this.  It was an expensive one for me because truly, I shouldn't have spent money on it in the first place.
