In October of 2003,I signed up with the Coaching Institute for a Tech Advantage coaching plan for my business that included a 3 month website. They promise that I would start right away.

After 1 month and many phone calls I still hadn't had a coaching session nor a website. But when I did get my bank card statement, they had charged my credit card $2,995 when I only authorized a $1,000 charge for the down payment. When I called the coaching institute, they said it was an error. However, they couldn't correct it, because they have a no refund policy.

It has been 5 months and over 100 hours of letter writing and phone calls etc and I haven't recovered a dime. My bank refuses to do anything because it is a contractual matter...I did authorize a charge, it doesn't matter that the amount is wrong.

The DA office of UT, sent my complaint to the comsumer protection agency that refuses to do anything because it is business to business and they only protect individuals.

I filed 2 complaints and 1 appeal with the Better Business Bureau...and they never recorded even the complaint. I contacted a lawyer, that wouldn't take the case because the amount was too small.
