Coast To Coast Transmission - 24hr Transmissions SCAM!! ripoff Denton Texas
They are a TOTAL scam! First off when I called CURLY BROWN told me a TOTAL price of $1,797.00 which would include a REBUILT tranny, installation, labor, towage, and all taxes. he fax me a crapy form to sign and fax to Texas so they can come and tow the car and start to rebuild the transmisison. after sending the fax and all the information they pick up the car but I did not heard from anyone about the location of the car.
I called everyday and could not get any answers, after 2 weeks of calling they transfered me to RICK/RICHARD who did not have any idea were my car was, two days later he gave me the number of the shop, I called the shop but they don't tell me anything because they have a contract with Coast to Coast and they only deal with them. Then I got a call from RayLynn asking me to send the payment because the credit card was unreadable.
I did not send credit card information but I sent them a Money order for the total amount, she told me the car will be ready in a few days. 2 days later I got a call asking me for more money because of 'hard' parts that my car needed. I argued and questioned what part were needed but never got the list.
I canceled the contract and they charged me $895.00 brokerage fee (what a CROCK). called the shop and asked when can I pick up the car so I can take it somewhere else, but the shop will not release the car because they said they have not got paid for the work they did on my car.
today I got a call from the shop telling me that I have to pay the mechanic for their work. in other work I got screwed both ways.
Now I lost $1797.00 and the car..
I have spent so much time on phone calls faxes and e-mail trying to resolve this problem but I getting nowhere with these people.
Beware of these people. the people I dealt with were CURLY BROWN (Baltimore), RICHARD, And RAYLYNN- the so called manager! For those of you who have had a problem with these people I suggest you do the same that I did and file complaints with the BBB, FTC (Federal Trade Commission), and the Attorney General of the of Texas! Because I am taking this to the next level!

I've just got information that Mr. Larry Duncan has another scam in the mix, it's know as Transmission Rescue .com. As I'm sure you all know by now that Mr. Duncan is a hundred percent RIPOFF from the get go, as I'am sure there with be others and I hope every one gets the message. I worked for tis AS----E for about 6 months, and witness many ripoff take form. If any one needs help in stopping him please response to my e-mail address in ripoff .com.

I worked for him as a sales rep for 3 months until i could no longer take it, I can give you some advice, he's uses Google Adwords to scam people, that is how he gets people, so file a complaint with them at adwords-support@google.com or call them at (866) 246-6453 his website is transmission-1.com because he's bait-switch, quotes 997 then its higher

I have contact information for Larry Duncan Owner of this natioanl wide crime organization, or at least as far as I am concerned it is. We live in the Winchester Va Area and delt with Cury Brown, "MR. I have been doing this 30 years and have a good reputation..." See my report and contact me. We got our $$ back, via Visa. If enough people file for charge backs it will stop Duncans ability to use charge cards. Rich Lindman is Curlys so called boss, Curly gave me that info. Also if the shop didn't agree to the terms of the the cosaat coast contract and didn't sign it, then there is no contract. Have the shop write a letter to give to your bank.

I can't get my car back from this shop they claimed they have not got any payments for the work they did on the transmission. I believe they are trying to get more money from me which I am not giving them any.
I am filing a civil law suit against them to get my car back, also will report to BBB and the FTC.

is the shop that has your car, is it Dorsey Transmission? Because I to live in the Maryland area. I went through the same thing that you and everyone else that went through it!
