Late in 2005 I decided to become a Director with Coastal Vacations. I am happy with both the product and the opportunity and have no complaints with Coastal at all. However, others who are considering joining Coastal need to be warned away from the Coastal Masters Group - also known as CMG or the Coastal Closers. This is a Call Center that promises to make sales for you when you purchase leads and enter them in the CMG system. CMG is owned and operated by Jim and Vickie Stevens.

I joined CMG and paid for and received my packages and releases. As I stated, I have no complaints there. My issue stems with the fact that I paid an additional $700 for the CMG "Closing Center" to call leads that were entered into the system and close sales for me. Yet in the 6 months that I have been with CMG I have spent over $500 in leads (over 180 individuals in their system) and I have seen MAYBE an average of one call every 2 weeks. I have leads that have been in the system since January of this year that have NEVER been called.

Early on, Jim openly stated that there was such an overwhelming number of leads in the system that CMG was backed up. Because he seemed honest and forthright, I decided not to complain and waited for the situation to be resolved. But that was over 5 months ago and there is still no activity on my leads. I also know that my upline had similiar problems as of 2 months ago.

I addressed this issue with both my upline and Jim Stevens. There has been no improvement in the situation and very little response. Consequently, I am compelled to complain.

I admit, I hesitated posting this report because I am happy with Coastal itself. Nonetheless, I don't want someone else to get sucked into CMG's promises to make money for them by closing their sales. CMG does not follow through on what it promotes, so if you are truly interested in the Coastal product please pursue it from a legitimate Director.

Some time ago, I posted the original report about the Coastal Masters Group, now known as The Coastal Closers. At that time, though I was a member, they had not made any calls for me - certainly no sales.

I'm very happy to update with a recent new development. A short while ago, I spoke again with the owner of The Closers and he addressed all of my concerns. He explained that early on, they did have flaws in the system, but had worked hard to correct them. Long story short, he has since made good on my initial contract.

So now, The Closers are actively calling the people who have expressed interest in Coastal Vacations and I am making money with their system. In fact, they are working on closing two new sales for me this week alone.

Fair is fair, and while my first post was as true as could be, I am now able to honestly state that they have fixed the problem.

Happy endings are always nice!
