Complaint Review: COASTLAND AUTO BODY INC.

2011 Jetta sport wagon was a new car that was damaged on passenger side from a tractor trailer blown tire.  Car was taken to coastland auto body for repair.   When car was completed, the car was painted green upon pickup.  I rejected the Jetta and they fixed.   After 8 months the car has problems with the windows,  front facia falling down.  I took the car back multiple times and they kept saying they fixed. it.  We would go on vacation/ trips with the car and the windows kept coming out of the track.    After years of this I took the door apart on passenger side front.  ( I am a certified Body tech by trade)     the regulator was bent and never fixed from day 1.  Upon disassembly, the door had multiple missing and broken fastners.   Then I went up front to check the same thing from behind the bumper cover that was replaced.   All the clips and facia was glued back together and still missing parts of the attachment points that should have been there.    I took video of everything I did and witnessed.   The car has now been at the shop for 3 months upon my insistance that they fix what they didn't do right.  The owner is Matt Walker.   I have left numerous messages for him with no call back.   The shop is dragging their feet and keep screwing around and not workiing on my car, making excuses etc.    I would not take your car here for any work  period.    This coastland auto body shop are frauds.   They will lie and not repair the vehicle as it should be.   Stay away from coastland auto body.
