We stayed in the hotel condo for a week and was double charged. When I confronted the manager ( as I noticed it as we were still there) he apoligized and stated he would refund the money. When he "tried" to refund it, he actually charged us a 3rd time. He stated that he didnt know how to use the machine. At this point I was very upset that our card would have 3 holds put on money that had been earmarked for this vacation. There was "nothing he could do" to refund the money any sooner so he offered us a certificate for a free 2 night stay.                                                                                   Everytime we called to use it he would say they were booked ( even though the website would show room openings). I tried for some time to redeem it unsuccessfully ( everytime we would stay in Ocean City, which is a 4 hour drive from our home). We continued to stay in other hotels without incident.   The last time when I tried to use the certificate I was told that the manager was fired and they were not honoring any certificates that he gave (as he gave out alot). I told them this was not my problem. The certificate was offered as compensation for their screw up. Was told too bad, they will not honor it. Its a lovely piece of cardboard that they offer since thats all its worth. They should honor the free stay as promised.  DO NOT STAY< RIP OFF REPORT!!

I called the hotel and notified them of this review and the GM who hadnt yet recieved word of this issue ( he just took over in August) stated that he will honor certificate in hand. Thank you to this site and the new management there seems more understanding of the issue! Will update again after our stay to tell you how it goes! Thanks!
