Upon inquiry to a craigslist ad, indicating I stopped driving my car after it started overheating, and I received email with the following wording...
"First of all, when the warning guage says its over heating, you're supposed to stop, not keep on driving to see if it will somehow magicially fix itself. (You have probably blown the head gaskets from failing to heed the warning) Second, working on someone elses mess is not going to be inexpensive, and since we operate a legitimate business, I can not work any deals for payment, and it sounds like you need someone to do this cheep. ...you get what you pay for... "
Fortunately I know of actual good mechanics I can call if the need arises.
While there may be many a good mechanic who cannot read and cannot spell, this one is making it clear that human contact is not something he desires. Fortunately I didn't get far enough with this shady business with no published address and an unpublished phone number to get ripped off. Just a warning to potential customers who may not want to risk being treated rudely.
Also be aware that the name under the email address is "Hans gruber" which is a terrorist character in the movie Die Hard. You decide if that's someone you want to do business with.

There are others who pose as our company, and are constantly posting replicas of our adds on craigslist in an attempt to divert potential customers away from our business. This "ripoff" report appears to have been in response to one such attempt. Please accept my appologies in this matter, and know that we are working with Craigslist to stop these false postings, and in fact have filed a protection order against the individual we believe is responsible, yet these postings continue. As a business owner, I am sure you can agree that responding to emails with such a harsh attitude as claimed by your complaint can not be a legit business, as they would not survive. I hope to resolve this report and clear my good name.
