This company has a copy-cat website of a reputable firm conducting legitimate business in another state. The offer of a free coffee grinder with the first order is used as a teaser to establish an account accessing credit card debit facility. What the company doesn't spell out is that you will be repeatedly billed for their product on successive occasions.

When you realise this and attempt to access their website, there is no facility to cancel your order - only to change your order or reorder.

If you examine the digital certificate for this site, you discover they are owned by a company called "Equifax Secure Global eBusiness CA-1" and the certificate was initiated on 3/1/2007 and is dated to expire on 5/31/2008.

Equifax Secure Global is a company that sells personal credit reports on the web and provides facility to obtain your personal credit status; but, at a cost.
It also hosts a "dispute" facility to challenge their credit reporting of you.

In short, unsuspecting receivers of a junk email offering a free coffee grinder and coffee are caught in an endless bill for repeated deliveries. If you attempt to complain about it, you may be subjected to further credit denigration in retaliation. In effect, this strongly resembles an exhortion.

I would appreciate any feedback from anyone who has a solution - short of suspending your credit card.
