Coinstair ripoff switching terms of transaction after selected Probably Everywhere
Coinstar is promoting a new service that will allow you to count your coins for NO FEE with a payment as a gift card at a variety of locations.
On May 20th of 2006 I selected the Amazon.com gift card and agreed to the NO FEE transaction, it asked me multiple times to confirm this was my selected. On each instance I did select the NO Fee option.
After my coins were counted by the machine and my giftcard was to be dispensed the machine had "Technical Difficulties" it then, without my consent, printed a receipt for "Cash Redemption" and charged me a 8.9% fee.
The rundown, I selected 0% fee, the machine was unable to deliver for whatever reason at no fault of my own, the machine FORCED me to pay an 8.9% fee without my consent when No Fee payments are advertised
