On December 16, 2015, Joseph of Coit Services of South Florida, came to my house and provided an estimate to clean an area rug for $609.00. That estimate included two men because furniture had to be moved. Joseph guaranteed me that the problem with the carpet would be resolved at the price quoted.

On December 24, 2015, Paulo arrived at my home to pick-up the carpet to take it to the cleaning plant to have it flushed and cleaned. Although two men were supposed to appear, and as I was billed for two men, only one man showed up. Therefore I had to help move the furniture so that the carpet could be removed from the house and carried to the truck.

On January 12, 2016, roughly 3 weeks later, the carpet is delivered by Devon Morrison and Antonio. Although they delivered the carpet, it had a very profound odor, so they took it back to the plant to re-clean.

Just about one month later, February 10, 2016, Joseph Lewis delivers the carpet. As stated earlier and which happened again, as I was being charged for two men, Coit only sent one man. So, once again, I had to lift the furniture and move it with Joseph. Further, Coit did not reduce the bill to reflect the price of the men who did not show up.

That evening, the odor emanating from the carpet was so bad, my wife and I started suffering severe headaches, we could not sleep in the bedroom that night and had to sleep on the sofas in the living room. The next day I called Coit and Felix and Bernie arrived and took the carpet back to the plant due to the profound odor.

On February 18, 2016 Coit was scheduled to redeliver the carpet. They never showed up and nobody ever called to say they weren't coming. By the way, it is worth noting that there were a total of two deliveries that were scheduled which resulted in No Call, No Shows; I just cannot remember the date of the second no call, no show.

Then, on or about February 19, 2016, I called and spoke to Desmond about the problem.

On February 22, 2016, Devon delivers the carpet, it still has a profound odor and he takes it back to the plant.

On February 26, 2016, I call and speak to Ted Williams, the plant manager. I describe my problem. He is to research the issue and get back to me.

On March 2, 2016, I speak to Mr. Williams and arrange delivery and Mr. Williams is going to personally deliver the carpet so we can demonstrate the problem.

On March 5, 2016 Mr. Williams was supposed to deliver the carpet. He promised me that he would make delivery in the morning. As no one had called to confirm, I called and confirmed with Ted. He stated he would deliver the carpet by 10:15 AM. He then called me back and stated the carpet was still wet and not ready to be delivered and that it still had an odor. He then asked me to send him an email with the carpet specifications which I did on the same day. This is now March 14, 2016 and I have still not heard back from Coit. It has been over three months in order to clean at area rug and it has not been done. It is apparent that the carpet has been ruined and I have attempted to make a claim for the purchase price but keep getting put off.

Needless to say this is not what this is not a company you want to do business with.
