This is our experience with Colder's Furniture and Appliance store in Delafield, Wisconsin.

We had a 2-year old saggy Serta mattress that we had purchased from them. They sent out a "technician" to see if it would qualify for the warranty coverage. He measured the sags and looked it over carefully with a black light to detect any stains which would void the entire warranty. (Cost to us:$25)

We received a call telling us the mattress would be covered with a full replacement. We shopped for a new one, and were told it would come out as an "even exchange". We then pre-paid the delivery charge for the new one. ($61)

When the delivery men arrived they checked it over with their black lights. (My husband told them this had already been done, but they said "We do it again"). They carefully wrapped 3 sides of the mattress in their plastic bag, and hauled it out to our front porch. In a few seconds they returned inside to tell us they had found a stain. It was on the unwrapped edge in a straight line, light yellow, and a thumb's width. They called their "supervisor" who told them the warranty was now voided in full. When we talked with her, she said they could see it better in different light.

We are now fighting them for a refund of the delivery charge since we received nothing.
