I purchased The New American Land Rush: How to Buy Real Estate with Government Money on October 5, 2006. My 1st problem is that one of the cds was in bad condition. The worst part of the product is that most of the information provided is available for free online on different government and non profit grant organizations' website. I already had 90% of the information on the package.
I returned the package and e-mailed Jillian Coleman Wheeler, the president of the company for a refund. But she tried to enroll me in a more expensive class instead, and apply the refund money towards the class tuition. I insisted that I wanted my money back, and that was the last time she replied my e-mails.
I have sent her several emails in regards to the refund, and she has taken pleasure in ignoring my emails. I also called her office phone number several times and she never answered her phone and refused to return my calls after leaving several messages.
At the beginning of the year 2007, I sent her an email from another email address of mine posing as a new buyer and that I was having problems with the website. She was quick to reply that particular email giving me instructions on how to order from her website.
I was also finally able to get her on the phone sometime in the month of April. She apologized and blamed the whole scenario on her computer systems and personal assistant. She promised to look into my case and issue a refund within 3 days. 3 days turned into 3 weeks, and 3 weeks turned into 3 months. She never kept her word.
On August 15, 2007, I was finally able to get through to her with help of my patner who called her to inquire about purchasing her products. Again she was very quick to respond to his emails and calls. Finally she called and I happened to be in the car with my partner that faithful day. I immediately went to the point and confronted her about my $897 that she refused to refund for 10 months. And again she recited her manufactured story of computer systems malfunction and personal assistance. She asked for my address so that she can mail the check. Ofcourse that was the last time I heard from her. She never sent the check, nor did she respond to my calls or emails afterwards.
Today, October 5, 2007 is exactly 1 year after I purchased her products and returned them to her, and I am yet to receive my refund check. My advice to anyone that is considering any of their products is to stay away from this company. They are one of the SCAM ARTISTS ON THE INTERNET READY TO PREY ON THE INNOCENSE OF AVERAGE AMERICANS THAT ARE LOOKING FOR OPPORTUNITIES TO BETTER THEIR LIVES. STAY AWAY FROM ANY OF COLEMAN & ASSOCIATES; GRANT ME RICH.COM PRODUCTS. EVEN HER NEWEST BOOK (Your Internet Cash Machine: The Insiders Guide to Making Big Money, Fast! ). They are all bunch of crap. Keep your money, because she will not refund you as soon as you find out that you just bought junkies.

This gentleman did receive his refund in full, by check, despite the fact that he was not actually eligible for a refund under the terms of purchase.

This is the second time we have responded on this issue. I'm not sure why the initial response did not appear.

Thank you.

7 Days After Jillian Coleman, Grant me rich.com Filed a Rebuttal Against My Complain

#4Author of original report

Fri, October 19, 2007

It's been 7 days since Jillian Coleman filed a rebuttal against my complaint on Grant me rich.com refusal to refund me, stating that they are in the middle of resolving this problem. Yet I haven't received any e-mail nor a phone call from this company to commence the resolution process. Wouldn't that have been the first action of a company that wants to prove to americans that my case was only a mistake and expceptional.

She also mentioned that Americans can request testimonials from highly satisfied clients who have benefited from their courses and classes. Gosh, these people never cease to amaze me. Gone are the days that we Americans are gullible to believe any and every paid ACTORS and ACTRESSES that pose on the internet or on the phone for that matter as an "highly satisfied client" for companies like grant me rich.com. We are fully aware of the games!

What concerns me most is that, it had to come me reporting grantmerich.com to ripoffreport.com in order for me to get any attention from coleman and associates in this case. Only God knows how many Americans are going through the same thing with this company, but do not have avenues like ripoffreport.com to help them out from these predators. A big thanks to ripoffreport.com

Oh! I forgot to mention in my original report that the Better Business Bureau tried to resolve this issue for about 2 months, but Coleman & Associates refused to communicate with them. And BBB dropped the case. If BBB can not get a company that poses to have good integrity to resolve a simple refund case, that gives a lot of Americans good cause for concern. In my 5 years of purchasing products online, this is the worst of all my experiences. I bet most Americans out there would agree.

Jillian Coleman should come out and give full explanation as to why she not only unjustly held on to an American $900 for over a year, but also refused to coorperate with BBB, and refused to respond to any form of communication whatsoever in regards to the refund for 1 full Year. They have my product purchase information, return receipt confirmation and whatever necessary documents that they may to resolve the issue.

Americans are waiting, Grant me rich.com. Please Proof to us that you are not of the RIPOFF companies out there! Tell us why another American should spend a dime buying any of your products and services!
