I was taken for over $3000 from this scam center and my house went into foreclosure. Their A&DR program is a joke! Do not do business with the con artists! I called and tryed to get my money back and spoke to a guy who said he was a manager Dan Diaz. Dan kept talking in circles and finely transferd me to the owner Devin Benter would not do anything and he already stole my money. The guys are running an illegal fake law firm, charging money upfront, total scam shop! I lost my house and now I can't afford to even rent an appartment. These guys need to be shut down! DO NOT PAY MONEY TO THESE CRIMINALS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!

Again, we have no record of a Karen Johnson either as a current or past client and would welcome the opportunity to address her issues directly. However, in response to Mrs. Johnson’s allegations and to provide an explanation to the public of our services, CIL is a nationwide consumer advocacy firm that investigates and identifies errors, wrong doing and misconduct that has occurred either on a loan or against the homeowner(s) by the lender or loan servicer. By involving federal regulators and opening complaints, banks and loan servicers are forced to take action in resolving the complaints and CIL advocates on behalf of the homeowner in satisfying and closing the complaints. However, it is true that the majority of our clients do receive offers to satisfy and close the complaints that will reinstate and restructure their loan under the  same securitization guidelines that govern loan modification programs. It is important to understand that our firm is not providing loan modification services as outlined under the FTC MARS (Mortgage Assistance Relief Services) rule as Mrs. Johnson refers to in her claim. Additionally, as we advocate on behalf of hundreds of clients across the country each month in the contacting and complaining to federal regulators, it stands to reason that the regulators would not allow us to continue operating if in deed we were providing services that violated federal guidelines.

To the public and/or potential clients:  We have conducted a thorough investigation to determine the validity of this issue.  As we stated previously we have no record of any Karen Johnson in Maryland or any other state, nor have we been contacted by this person or any representative. Furthermore, as the initial complaint specifically names people who would never participate in any customer relations service,  we believe that these are fictitious complaints that were likely authored by a former disgruntled employee with the intent to slander, damage and discredit our firm. As this site only requires a valid email address to begin complaining, it makes it an easy outlet for anyone to anonymously attack any person or business. We encourage you to learn more about this site and seek out an article by Forbes.com, a credible media outlet, that reports on how this site operates and is funded.

We at CIL take customer service extremely serious. This complaint has just come to our attention and upon our initial investigation we have no record of any Karen Johnson as a current or past client. Additionally, the people mentioned in this complaint do not tend to any service related issues, therefore, please contact us as soon as possible so we may address your issue immediately.

The campany's name is actually Colleagues in Law, not Colleauges In Law. A&DR loan modification scam. Look up the MARS law about companies like this that chage money upfront. Don't do it, you"ll lose your money and your house like I did.
